I did the audiobook. Is particularly good. It leads you to believe it's some sort of geek 80s retro video game worship, which it is, but it starts twisting to quite dark dystopian shit as it progresses.

This is pretty fucked up also. Stars a young Don Johnson pre Miami Vice

no shit, sounds good, did you stream it online? where would i find this?

You can watch it on the above YouTube clip or download a version here: http://wipfilms.net/post-apocalyptic-an ... d-his-dog/
'I Like It When You Die' is the fourth album by American grindcore band Anal Cunt. The album was originally titled You're Gay, and the album cover was going to contain a mirror, but this idea was later changed

Hadn't watched The Hudsucker Proxy in ages. Used to think it was a bit slow but I've mellowed out and found it hilarious this time. Might not count as a movie about a dystopia, but it's in a dystopian setting along the lines of Brazil:

He meant the audiobook, Knobby!

Recently watched Five. Not bad for a 1950s take on a nuclear apocalypse. Heaps of skeletons. There's a download of it here:

I just watched Cargo. Not your average zombie movie. I liked it.

The Parallax View is a political conspiracy film with dystopian overtones, liked it. Fairly sombre on the whole but with some absurd dialogue/scenarios that made me chuckle.

Watched Hardware yesterday. Considering its great style the plot unfolded in a cheesier way than I hoped for towards the end. Good though.

Was the 3rd season any good?

I might watch it over the break. Had it downloaded but not the time to watch.
I've also got 'The Testaments' to read.

Equilibrium is good, sounds like the same storyline with flashier guns and kung-fu.

Just watched Equilibrium. Pretty good. Got nothing on THX 1138 though, at least the 1st half of that which is totally alienating - literally like you've switched on a movie made in a different solar system by mistake.

Watched a real kooky one the other day:

Straight up sword and sorcery meets post-apocalyptic. Real campy, nothing special but pretty fun.
