You are invited to an Outdoor Movie nite on Saturday 3rd March 2007.

11 Ahiriri Avenue,
Avondale, Auckland.

Films cannot start until it gets dark, so prob rolling about 8.30 p.m.

This is DOCTOR SEUSS NITE, for those who like his quirky brand of humour!

Main feature: "The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T." (1953) - a feature length live-action movie, screenplay by Dr Seuss. (His only story that was NOT animation.)

Preceding that will be a few short Seuss cartoons, including
"The Sneetches",
"The Zax",
"Green Eggs & Ham"
& possibly other cartoons (both Seuss & non-Seuss) to follow the main feature.

Seating is the lawn, so you may find it worthwhile to bring something waterproof to sit on if it has been raining in the previous few days!

If we can put this in a big paddock, you get to see the films on BOTH sides of the screen. Since we just use it in a house backyard, we can only view it on one side (but I guess the neighbours can see it on the other side!)

One more screening this season, 24th March, then we need to find a new venue. Is your place suitable? (I'll start a new thread shortly for the 24th screening.)
