Been thrashing these both on the turntable and headphones on the way to work pretty hard. Some killer new releases. Especially loving the Antisect album - NOT the cover art however, it looks like avengers or star trek or some shit haha. I get they were going for an emblematic Crass-style vibe but it does't really work. I can forgiv it for the tunes though as it's their first in aeons and it delivers like a Killing Joke album! B Boys also goes great like a higher-energy Wire. L.A Witch with some slick psyche/garage rock. New Protomartyr is fully harrowing, poetic and enjoyably bright at the same time. New With The Dead is crushingly phenomenal - it takes a lot to get me hyped on a doom metal album and it goes hard. Metz combining the power and melody of their previous two efforts to make a great third album. Some Alan Vega (my fave album of his) and the new Haram on La Vida En Us Mus.

Shot! Haven't posted in a while so thought I'd chuck up a few more than usual. Yeah it's a little lo-fi but it goes!

Theyre opening for Foo fighters in melbourne...This is another reason i will never take them seriously. If u want some good melbourne shit.... check these rock n rollers ... (i think there is an ex clowns member in ths band, he made the right choice i feel)
I still think this is a bit of a beast of an album. What a bunch of cheery cunts.
I didn't even get half way through St. Anger before I ended up listening to this instead:
These guys got heavier and slower. Way more metal in later years. Saw the singer, Eddie play a reggae dj set in kuala lumpar back in 2014. This album is a banger. Malay skins are both dedicated (to wearing boots and jeans in such humidity hah) and very hospitable.
