Don't watch CSI but Ted Danson's character in Bored to Death was awesome.

Yeah, I skipped over most of the seasons after Grissom left, but the current season looks good.
Ted Danson was also awesome in Damages season 1 as Arthur Frobisher.

Disagree. It was more entertaining with Laurence joining the team at entry level and learning, rather than as a supervisor. Like when he bent over a corpse and got blood on his tie.
