Stocking Up.
Going on a 9 week course. I'll be a few hours away from the nearest decent spot of civilization, so im going to be stocking my laptop/drives up with stuff to entertain me.
Any suggestions of Tv Series/Movies/Games/Music which you think decent and watch- (rewatch-) worthy would be much appresh.

Yeah Peep Show is pretty good, Lost is wicked in marathon form.

Also, good suggestions. Seinfeld is epic.

Re: Stocking Up.
I've been buying quite a lot of tv shows on DVD lately, I don't watch tv so I go by what my friends recommend
Lost- I am so bummed I didn't get into this sooner, its so sprawling and full of mystery / mythology that you can't stop watching it, but its not as like frustrating as Twin Peaks was in places, its a little more giving I think.
The Wire- took me about 2 or 3 episodes to really get into it, but once you get into it you can't stop watching. A lot of people compare it to Sopranos, I get that but its far more realistic and toned down that Sopranos and gets into all aspects of Baltimore city, corruption, drugs, politics etc, so is a little more slow paced and not as like hip as Sopranos, but in terms of narrative, direction, the story, its just really great.
Curb Your Enthusiasm is great, I dig Seinfeld but I think Curb is consistently funnier.
If you dig animated / absurdist humour / nonsensical stuff I'd recommend shows like Tom Goes to the Mayor, Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job, Pee Wee's Playhouse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Brak Show

Space Empires V. Seriously, this will save you on food and slim you down aswell, as you will spend vast amounts of time playing this. It will be 6am in the morning and you will be yawning and saying to yourself "Just a couple of more turns then I'll call it a night"
edit: Oh and Gladiator, you can watch Gladiator over and over really
