PunkAs Reviewer Wanted

With less and less time to devote to this site, I'm struggling to get all the CDs I get sent reviewed in a decent time frame...which isn't fair on the bands and labels sending stuff in.

I'm after another reviewer who would write reviews for me - preferably with an interest/expertist in the metalcore side of things, since that's pretty much all I get these days.

Bad news - there's no pay and you have to review EVERYTHING you get sent. No exceptions. You also need to commit for a decent period of time...a year at least. Anything less and you're just wasting my time.

Good news - you get free CDs and can simply email any label you want stuff to and ask for review copies from them.

If this sounds like you, drop me an email at punkas@gmail.com with a sample review of a recent album. I'll be looking for objectivity, good grasp of the English language (I also don't have time to edit your reviews!) and strong reasoning for why the album is/isn't good.

Didn't this actually result in Legdog and Ethyl becoming reviewers?

Yup, and myself. I think Ethyl has been reasonably proactive but I know for a fact I've submitted about 3 reviews and that's it.
Feel stink too cause it's not just good for Matt, gives me some skills too.
Stupid record companies not responding to my emails/Me being a slack arse and not chasing enough.
