-pills that keep me ambivalent to the futility of existance
-a job to pay tax so i get cheap ambivalence from Apu the drug dude.
-access to all the free porn, music, art, movies and everything else for free cause fuck thieving capitalism
-shoes that are not made of cows instead they are made of small Asian children and stolen petrochemicals.
-a hybrid car that now run's guilt free on 50-50 dead middle eastern kids and coal energy.
-a police force that are armed tax collecting children not a secret kill squad that disappear's our friends and worse.
-but most of all it good that without this mass sedation and distraction we would not be able to organize the imminent and inevitable destruction of this fuckin disaster of a species.

Chocolate covered gingernut fingers. Bite off each end and suck black coffee through it.

They're a dying breed. On the Ultimate Metal forum there are threads dedicated variously to coming up with your top 10 films/metal albums/non-metal albums for a specific year or ranking a band's albums, so I spend a bit of time with those. They're partly inspired by RateYourMusic and the poll forum sections there, except RYM users take things to ubergeek levels. The same kind of thing just wouldn't work on other social media such as Facebook/Reddit. People would either come up with a list hastily or forget that they ever saw the post and never go back to it. Forums work, bitches.

Getting given a sign name in NZSL class last night. My sign name is "cough" because I have had really bad asthma for the whole time the course has been running.
(Unfortunately you don't get to choose your own sign name)

When your housemates are out...
You can
- walk around naked
- poo with toilet door open so u can still hear the radio
-eat their fancy cheeses and blame the other housemate
God. Its good. I cant wait till I can afford my own place... I'll have to buy my own cheese I guess

Getting offered the opportunity to manage a remote lodge in Fiordland for the next seven months, and taking it, and handing in my resignation from my Parks & Rec job :)

Finally said fuck it and got a proper grown up espresso machine. Spent a few years cycling through a bunch of chain store cheapos, which certainly did the job to a point, but this new beast and grinder just smash out far superior precious caffeine.

Every single part is replaceable, so it should easily give me ten years of faithful service.

I think this belongs in the Selling out thread lol.
Nah nice one. I'm a bit jealous. Coffee is paramount in the exrutiatingly repetitive daily grind, scuse'the pun.
People who drink instant are subhuman, perculators are a cheap alternative. With beans bean easy to shoplift and also not overly expensive . I'm not as idealistic as I once was, but buying fair trade coffee is something I do when I can afford it.
In conclusion I am jealous of ur coffee machine

Coffee is the main reason I hope civilisation doesn't fall while I am still around. I really don't want to become the warrior of the wasteland, roaming looking for packets of ground beans, then the better freeze-dried stuff, until finally, many years later, a withered hag, I find myself in an abandoned office building with a half-full can of Continental Roast that has gone solid, and I have to make the choice between drinking it (adding the solid block of stale milo and crusty sugar) and killing myself.

Mystery pants.

I was in my shed accessing the beer fridge, and noticed some Jean's piled up in a spot I never noticed before. They were tight black Jean's with only one hole. A Melbourne brand Dejour, that were a cool obscure brand once, but hipsters ruined them aswell. Anyhow, they were my size and I'm super chuffed.
They weren't my house mates, as one of them got out of punk years ago and wears baggy pants now, and the other likes nice things. So I claimed them. I am happy about this. Free Jean's are the best.
Also it's my last day of trade school tomorrow.
Free mystery pants and no more school. It's all coming up milhouse

That's a convoluted way of pretending you didn't queue up outside Dejour for hours and hours waiting to be fitted for your flash new jeans, Dave.

Lol I have done thar before. Wouldn't do it again. Their life span is slightly less than the amount of time it takes to wait in line
