Things that chisel my gears

Postby Sob Soc » Thu Mar 28, 2019 1:00 pm

1. The rotation of planet earth
2. Common language which has a function and purpose.
3.The community dialogue of Facebook.
4. People that don’t appreciate absurd proverbs.
5. People with precise behaviours whom qualify as ungainly geeks.
6. Organisations which ordinary people commonly participate in, like AA.
7. Rugby heads don’t inspire me. I don’t like rugby, it is boring; it is a well-worn culture.
8. Chinese lantern festivals held outside China.
9. Pussy footing teetotallers who don’t make a fancy special occasion when it comes to a party.
10.Woman with tattoos
11.People that have something to say and try to influence people through the mere means of social communication incidentally .
12. Reality intended to convey my own psychosis.
13. People that have never met Royce Rees.
14. Sexually active people attending University.

Strictly keeping this to exactly 14 items to preserve the format.

1. The lack of robotic automation in the home
2. Spelling and grammar lapses in the information age. Informal writing is fine and all, but phrases such as "real good" are utter shite.
3. People who reply with "I'll have a look later" or don't answer emails and you never hear about it again. If your life is too hectic, just say so.
4. Basil
5. Frequent inconsistencies between websites intended to document the same piece of info, eg. album release years
6. Costume / Halloween-themed events
7. Spa pool culture
8. Asymmetrical hairstyles
9. The messiness of cooking crumbed food
10. The stress of organising gifts for predefined dates
11. Slow and erratic pedestrians, obviously
12. Drivers who creep forward or flinch while stopped at traffic lights
13. The band Converge
14. The relentless and unforgiving march of the hours

Keeping with Dead Kid's theme of 14 things which chisel your gears.

1.Romance contrary to heterosexuality
2.Punks merging with the mainstream rather than being barricaded from it
3.People that don't appreciate profoundly dubious, peculiar alien ideas
4.Dumb people who don't comprehend the meaning codified within language
5.People who don't believe life constitutes something more than mere existence, whether indiscreet or not.
6.Communal ideas made clear and translucent I find derogatory
7.People that don't believe that our world is abundantly equipped with fascism, and in need of rehabilitation
8.People that downgrade divisional ideas to racism and bigotry
9.Spazzgrinder, Sticky, Dubpunker, Dead Kid and Nazi Scum not posting enough messages on Punkas
10.Punks who are not loose, relaxed and playful
11.People on strict diets who are retarded or psychotic because of being on them
12.People unnerved by terrorist attacks.
13.People who can't survive the ordeal of my ranting and raving
14.Morally unstable people who tell you to Fuck off.

I both agree and gained much amusement from numbers 9 and 13.... but the specifics of Spa pool culture intrigues me.
This is a semi aquatic anthropological endeavour i must learn more about. People who own them, those who attend public spas or am I merely scratching the surface?
The tradies i know who install them are specifically tedious... it isnt really a trade... theyre just fake plumbers.
Pack of wet socked nonces

Referring to people who get a small one installed at home, especially outside. All parties at their place must then necessarily revolve around sipping bubbly or urine-coloured beers in their new money sink. It's like that joke about how the sewer system is like a citywide network of connected buttholes, except without the air gaps. "So this is where you have relations with your significant other" they'll say. One such friend has disappeared off of Facebook. I can only assume he's been swallowed up for good.
