Banjo Country

Postby the croc » Fri Sep 08, 2017 9:54 pm

So this week I was travelling around the top half of the South Island for work. We were driving from Greymouth to Christchurch yesterday and got stuck in this place called Otira as Arthur's Pass was closed due to snow. Otira is in the middle of buttfuck nowhere but it was somewhere to hang out while we waited for the road to open. Well fuck me the old pub is a gem of pure fucking weirdness, I recommend stopping in, you may never leave (because you've been murdered by the psycho that owns this place).

A proper butthole between mountains. Don't think I've ever stopped there as Arthur's was always the stop, but looks like a hoot!
