A non-conforming look can serve as a useful social signal to others with your values; there’s an easy visual identifier, you know that those are ‘your people’.

holy fucking jesus, that was hilarious at first and then boring, monotonous, and then kinda terrifying.

reminded me that one of the few people i know who still defends this guy calls him 'Mess'

i last saw her at woodcock this year, crying her eyes out cos she was having a bad trip, in fact i had to beg a ride home cos she took my seat, shes ok tho, we all take too much drugs sometimes.

Can't be fucked going back to look for it, but he actually has an instagram or something of his messes - with of course, no awareness of how utterly annoying they would be for everyone else

What a fucking weird guy. The incessant desire to constantly blog his horribly thought through opinions on anything to an audience of practically nobody is bizarre...sort of like posting here nowadays :baton:

Couldn't help but get sucked in. Probably the best post is the one where he meets some randoms down the pub and they go back to his for a session and then he insists on giving them a fire twirling display but they're not at all keen. So he makes them go outside anyway because he can't trust them in the house then demands they film him and they refuse and leave and so he fires up the sticks regardless and twirls on alone.

Weird how he's behind that people of Newtown Facebook.

"As a fun thought experiment, I sometimes wonder what I’d be like if I were a girl.

Firstly, I imagine that if I were a girl I’d have big boobs, but this is probably more a projection of my own preferences, and my own assessment of my attractiveness, than any serious consideration of my genetic make up."

aiden had green spikey hair and an orange tshirt, theres not really anyway to describe how david was dressed, kinda like a twee primary school teachers idea of a punk version of raggedy andy, he had screws and bolts sticking out of his tweed jacket, which used to piss people off when he rubbed against them in the pit, or over enthusiastically hugged them.

haha, and he used to drop his pants to his ankles for a piss, just pretty much wherever he happened to be standing

It's like he has no internal monologue filter - he just puts it in a blog.
