Your day?

Postby martyrdamn » Mon Dec 11, 2006 8:37 pm

I had a good day. Did a few hours volunteer at SAFE, skated and listened to music in the gardens. Not having a job and finishing school is choice. How was everyone elses?

(this is probably way too posi for punkas. ah well.)

Played basketball with aucklands number 1 one man band Flick. Cleaned up remnants of the cactus that got boiled up over the weekend and got my drunk on under a cloudless sunny grey lynn sky. Shit could be a lot worse

I drove a ute around all day at work and pretended to be working. It was a fucking hot and mint day in the Naki.

Then after work I went and built sweet jumps. Then I put my pedal into my shin

And now I am wasting time on punkas. :)

I went to work and found out we were working out in the boonies. I had a Doctors appointment at 9.30am so the boss told me to have 'half a day'...The crew did'nt text me at lunchtime to come in for work so I slept, watched dvd's for the rest of the day.

It was good.

Woke up to find the sun shinning. Did a spot of Christmas shopping. bought a new hat and some kitchen shit. Planted some vegies in the garden. had a BBQ for dinner and had some folks over for drinks. Was a pretty good day.

Today I'm mildly hungover

Yesterday, got out of my tent at 7am. Made coffee and watched the sun on the Old Man Range, and the rain coming across in curtains. Packed up the stuff and rode my bike 70km to Middlemarch, seeing bunnies, hares, skinks, a falcon (bird, not car) talking to sheep, and slathering on sunscreen. Jumped into the Taieri River (very cold) Sat naked in the long grass in the sun with three other lovely ladies, then headed back to Dunedin over the high road.

Today- bleary. Have done some measurements of petiole length and angle (yawn) and some data entry. Also bought some books- Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential and Diamond's Collapse for my sister for xmas, and Punk Rock Aerobics and 1000 Tattoos for me. Damn, I just realised it's raining and my washing's out. poos.

Today was pretty choice. Beers in the sun, had a meeting setting out some CYC aims etc, put together more zines, applied for a job. Got free cherries too! Mean as.
