Along with working my way through a Christmas cake and a bottle of Talisker, I am eating lots of tofu and vege rice paper rolls. Feels like xmas .

Just a little bit weird? Or has peak chip weirdness been reached?

Where did you but it from? I might use it as a snack for my cats.

The packet contains 11× an average cat's recommended daily intake of sodium...

Thanks Dead Kid, excess sodium intake can cause renal failure in cats. Do you have any other suggestions for cat treats?

Currently having proper Cajun special tortilla soup. Bloody good on a cold day. Also the people in Johnnie's Southern Kitchen are so cool that I want to be friends with them.
And that's my review.

You should get Clive Palmer onto that diet. He needs to change his eating habits a bit. Like you Sub soc, he also has a problem with the chinese, although he is a little more upfront about his disdain towards them. You seem to pussy foot around your xenophobia, much like your approach to logic... and seemingly edible food

Xenophobia means winding up your affairs with other countries, this is a supremely important issue. Doubtless, you stay happier presumably when you are Eurocentric.

I've been sick this week with a chest cold. I have invented blackcurrent, lemon and ginger jelly, and have been pretty much living on that, coffee and dark chocolate. I am really looking forwards to being well enough to eat real food .

The downside of giving up booze is that I’ve been smoking a fair bit of weed some nights. I end up eating too much and my meds fuck with my guts anyway. I’ve been gassy as fuck.

Lots of onions, garlic and leeks at the moment. Good for colds etc but I guess you don't want me breathing on you.

Right, attempting an actual meal for the first time in a week. Slow cooking Havoc pork cheeks with Veges, tofu and black beans- Chinese style, with basmati rice.

Basmati is fucking gorgeous, I have a slight guilt trip over rice though... it's labour intensive and only economically viable because of low wages for asian farm workers. Doesn't really grow well outside of asia, and needs a water buffalo

Viking burger from Local 88 chippy in Ravensborne. May have gutbombed myself. A bit too much mayo and chipotle', otherwise great.
