Living in a house with a living room surrounded by empty cigarette packets and clonaz pottles and empty beer cans - and still retaining the ability to recruit a surrealist group of people to make up Oytcho-Visha.

To be successful in depression pestering you, you need to join some kind of cult or alliance to protest against existence. You're right Dave, it's ironical that the "Things that are good thread" has been turned into an irretractable dooms day thread.

Things that are good: Not believing in yin-yang. Yin Yang is a two-fold crass format. I would rather live a nonexistence than be guided by yin-yang philosophy. Yin Yang impregnates you with doom, it is not a something to make a contract out of to create a revolutionary practice.

Feijoas, ha. 9kg off 3 trees in Mosgiel so far, we can't get through them fast enough... Still heaps more to drop yet.

What else is good?

Life is fucking busy currently, but that's not a bad thing, and it will be awesome when it's a little less so.

I have an old wooden boat sitting in the garage to restore, that is good, and will get even better one day!

Friends having young kids that aren't complete units, so you can chortle at their antics while having a beer, but then escape back to kid-free bliss.

More people seemingly being less naive about how fucked the world, and even little old NZ, is. That political compass thing, I guess.

Having money left over after paying the bills on pay day. That's really fucking good.
I think it's lint.

I find this thread "things that are good" does not rapidly enhance gaiety; some people have alternative sense perceptions though, by ritual or conspiracy, which are both the same thing. And please Dave, don't call me Sub Sock or Soggy Socks. My name is SOB SOC. It is an acronym - it stands for
Strange Odd Bizarre - Slightly Overly Cranky.

Lol that acronym is pretty good

'Slightly Overly' especially. A twinge of juxtaposition there
