Beastwars at puppies

Postby benn » Sat Jun 08, 2013 4:00 pm

Totally rocked. We got door sales for $20, excellent moshpit, rad music, super amping tunes, good beer at puppies. 10/10 would trade again. Even managed to get a 1am bus home instead of the $50 taxi ride.

Other things that night:

Goldings is rad, ordering pizza and jugs of tuatara APA rules.
Hashigo is good as always, beer selection on tap was a bit sad though.
Rogue and Vagabond is a bit of a shithole, did not enjoy.
Medusa is awesome, the bar dude caught us trying to climb on the roof and was totally cool about it, didn't even tell us off.
Bebemos is way too busy on a Friday night.
The bus home was too much for me to manage in my state and I fell off the seat and axed myself on the floor.

Good night/10, no hangover.

That's quite the evening. Hashigo Zake is the business. Love that place.

Tuatara APA blue or white label? (NZ or US hops?) I liked the US version more, personally.

American was more bitter while the NZ was more aromatic. I would expect it to be the other way around
