Yep, early voting ftw.

Voted Greens for party and labour for electorate.

Where can we early vote in chch? Probably easier to get my flatmates along to that.

I'm planning to vote for STV in Part B, because it achieves the result closest to MMP as I understand it.

for chch central they're listed here, times and places: http://www.elections.org.nz/voting/voti ... ntral.html
make sure they vote brendon burns for chch central, i've got money on him getting a decent majority

and for anyone else this page has all the electorates, just click on the one that applies and all the info is there: http://www.elections.org.nz/voting/voting-info/

kinda what i was thinking, on the slim chance mmp doesn't get 50% best thing is the system it goes up against next time is a real shitty one. that way mmp is more likely to get through then.

if people can't understand mmp then how the fuck are they gonna get this though?

imo the other 3 options all suck. are we honestly doing this? i'm going to be real angry with the general population if mmp gets less than 90% in the referendum.

granted either pv or stv would be better for electorate votes, though even better would be scrapping them altogether.

What a lot of people don't understand is that MMP will get a review anyway. A lot of people I've spoken to think we're voting to change the system.

STV is the only other option that doesn't heavily favour the major parties.

Be careful about voting early if you can cast a tactical vote. Anything could happen this week.

assumibly by 'f.a.p' you mean 'first against the post' which is what will happen to cunts like brash, douglas and lhaws when the revolution comes.

while we are having a little chat you should watch out for the gypsy fair and go next time it is in town. one of the guys was selling tshirts with your favourite stoner girl on them. over a two-tone base, even, so you can be more like your hero aidan.
