'I Like It When You Die' is the fourth album by American grindcore band Anal Cunt. The album was originally titled You're Gay, and the album cover was going to contain a mirror, but this idea was later changed

Icelandic beer made with endangered fin whale testicles smoked with dried sheep shit. Sounds like a fine drop.

Punk-as.
But really that sounds more like something that would be good for whisky.

fucking untappd. the amount of people that come to work and take photos of beer and untapwank instead of chatting to each other. such a subjective thing also. good for you not reviewing bro.

Disagree, reviewing lets me remember whether I liked something or not. After a while most the beers blur together, and when a bar has a selection of a few beers that I know I've tried, but can't remember if I like them or not, it's good to be able to jump on and see what I thought at the time

Pretty much imdb for beer innit?
Taste is subjective, but as a collective/hivemind you can still get a good idea about shit. And if you don't use it, then you can just ignore it.

Untappd is good. It's concise and better than reading (sigh) beer websites.

Yeah I'm a fan, like those guys said - it's so I can remember what I have had and liked/didn't like

It also motivates me to take photos of where I am/who I'm with, which otherwise I never do.

When I was back in NZ I went into hopscotch with my mate Nick, was a weird experience....seems like a really cool set up with lots of real good beers, but the guy we dealt with was kind of an aggressive douche bag. Was going on about people using plastic bottles and throwing them away, and also how big breweries are dicks....shit I completely agree with, but his aggressive way of talking about it was way off putting. He then told some story about some guy who through a cigarette but on the ground/past his face instead of putting it in the bin...again very aggressive, then got kind of xenophobic/racist about him being spanish?

We walked out with 1L of Pernicious weed for $28 ($18/L + $10 bottle "bond" - rip off??)........bitter sweet (literally ololol)

It's OK, but yeah, Hugh can be pretty racist. The bottle is nice though and it's a one-time fee. If you don't want tap beer/to pay for a bottle there is plenty of bottled stuff in the fridge. I'm just staying away because I have a garage full of homebrew I've been neglecting

J wrote:yeah thats a bit steep, you can get 1 litre in cans for $15

canned vs. kegged though, which is the whole reason Hopscotch exists.

Yeah the bottle is nice, just not sure if it's $10 nice (maybe it is?). Would have checked the homebrew shop but it was closed.

I guess it's subjective. They used to have empty antipodes water bottles to fill for free but I guess they ran out of supply

I've been getting into brown ales a little more lately, for some reason I used to think they'd be really boring

the American ones are good for first timers because they have nice aroma. I prefer the English style with more emphasis on the malt and flavors of nut etc.
