So hoppy.. Not so much the bitterness, but just tastes really fresh and green. Good as though. Early drinking today

Just looked it up. $99 for 12 seems pretty ok given they seem to be good craft stuff. Might grab one next pay.

Punkas discount apply to Aussie orders?

work was paying so stopped off for dinner at Hallertau, tried the Fresh Hop English bitter.. wasn't very bitter and about 7%.. was OK but didn't fit the style that well. They are also serving/selling some pretty decent hot sauce which I smashed all over my burger. 7.5/10 meal+beer.

I had 3 pints of Bodgie at Smash Palace last night, and was hungover before I got home. I felt sick all day and woke up covered in hives. Not happy. Will not drink again :x

It's an organic pilsner done by Hsrringtons for Smash Palace, nothing special but quite drinkable.
I would'nt have expected sulphites in it, I may be reacting to barley. Goddamn it.

I would never have expected sulphites in Harvest Cider either, but they started putting them in there in the 90s. Especially Scrumpy.
I'd question how organic that pilsener was. In my experience, hives are a good indication of some shit preservative in there.

I hope you are not reacting to barley. If you are, you can always carry a bottle of liquid zyrtec with you to take if you start to feel woozy after you eat/drink something you are allergic to?

Anyway, hope you are feeling better now :)

My mate was sober driving on saturday, so after a few drinks at craft and naval in lyttleton where I had some decent golden eagle, we stopped by Pomeroys and I found out you can get bottles on tap to take away.
decent pricing, cost me about 26 bucks for 2l of the panhead IPA I think, and my mate bought 4l of various stouts. good beers, good effort.

So far drunk:

Beerworks, Black Peak Stout - Good stout, not amazing, but pretty good and keen to try some more of Beerworks beers
Tuatara, Ardennes - As good as I remember when Simon gave me a bottle at the last BRBQ at Al's house
Renaissance, Enlightenment Great Punkin - I dunno why, but I always get put off by renaissance's branding. But this was My favourite out of the bunch so far, really interesting flavours (pumpkin!)
Panhead, Quickchanger XPA - Really nice and crisp and very hoppy, if not a little one dimensional. Would drink again.
De Molen, Bloed Zweet & Tranen - Very similar to Rex Attitude. Kinda like drinking BBQ sauce. Not that I wouldn't drink again, but
Clown Shoes, Hoppy Feet - Black IPA - was going to get the chocolate sombrero by these guys, but sold out before I had a chance. Thought I'd try the black IPA. It's ok, but not as hoppy as I was expecting.
