Saw lances new band Steed last night at the Old Bar in fitzroy. This band has potential to go quite far. Three piece in similar vain to Inepsy. The singer and bassist both motorcycle enthusiasts and all the songs are basically packed full of references to the old aussie biker Stone. Good film. Good band. They have recorded but havent released nothing so u will just have to wait :)
Lance is enjoyably to watch. His drum fills are tight and more creative than most, Cow bells and footwork galore.

Yeah. Troy from Hydro medusa is singing/ playing gat
Phil and lance also started a Jap styled dbeat band. Sounds like any other raw jap band to me. But they like it so thats nice
I wrote a d beat haiku for their band but they didnt seem appreciative

Buh kah buh duh kah
Children dying nuclear war
Buh kah buh duh kah

I think it encapsulates 99% of d beat. For a japanese randition you just turn the distortion up 400%
