FS : Marshall VBA 400

Postby Berry » Thu May 12, 2011 8:46 pm

Just serviced this week ($310) by Ryan @ Custom Audio, couple of tubes replaced, rebiased etc. All good.
Can provide receipt with all details including work done, wattage readings etc. Huge sound, but if you're after one, you probably know that.

Have the matching 4 x 12 cab too, may sell as a set but i'm probably going to hold onto that because it rules.

These are $3600 new.
Selling because i'm upgrading.

Can understand changing to something at a similar level but upgrade??? What are you getting?

This is soooo tempting....

Will look at doing swaps for one of the following (probably not going to have any luck with the first two) -

Gibson Grabber
Gibson Ripper
70's Fender P Bass

Even though I would love a VBA there's no way I'm getting rid of this Ripper.

Had a Grabber a few years ago which I imported from the US, but I was unlucky and it was a total dud.

And I probably don't need another bass... might be a good thing that you want to hold on to it

Bah, Gibson QC aye.

VBA 400 is a great amp but it needs that god awful contour tone switch removed.
