ok lets all stop the bullshit
the bottom line is fashion is very very very important
especialy if you are putting effort into looking like you put zero effort into how you look
hahahaha you cant get all embarresed about dressing right and take the post as a joke but on the other hand can gibber on for weeks about the best way to make your hair stand up
im going through a denim phase
lets open this thing right up
i mean button fly/zipper
levis/wrangler
taper or straight leg
and the all important question .....
when to wear white socks and when to wear black socks
will the white basket ball boot make a come back, and if they do will it be in conjunction with baggy black jerseys
will baggy be in this summer
and what will be the correct length for shorts this summer
below the knee or above
ankle length or will it go all the way back to short shorts
oh the dillema of just getting up and facing the world right
cos were one ciggarette away from being done
one ciggarette away
sure has been fun

here are some styles i have discovered -
Punk
'new-skool / emo ' dickies, wallet chain, plaid shirt or band tshirt, flexfit cap, chuck taylors... ive described matt to a 't' (no disrespect)
'old-skool' - see above casualties picture - the rabble
'crust' leather spiked jacket, patched pants, sleeveless amebix / dystopia tshirt, mohawk - veggie anarkrust
'gutter-trash' - old shorts / pants with patches of everything from bands to sea world australia, clothes found in salvation army / gutter / mosh pit, eat from rubbish bins - i used to be, dunno who else

'thug core' - hoodie / b-ball singlet, big shorts, cap, bling bling chains - seen phattnutz like this, also dillon bareknuckle brawl
'rock n roll / slick hxc' - tight jeans, creepers / chucks, tight band tshirts (often old metal tees), slick hair, - angelo, me these days

emo doenst count as 'style'

wear what you want do what you want

in the same vein as what dave said, dont spend $100 on a pair of shorts when you could go to a million gigs for that much.

im gutter trash, but i dont have a concrete style i have elements of all the styles mentioned in Monkey's post,
even the metal one,
but nothing punker than my ancient rancid tshirt (no sleeves had it since i was 16)and my old levi silver tabs (used 2 be my Wigga pants)rips held up with various patches none of them punk but i made them punk by sewing them on with my mums sewing machine without the foot thingy down cos i didnt know about that..lol
and my one concession 2 fashion(sort of) my Dogtown Van's (i was actually looking 4 chuck taylors but none in this one horse town in my size)

and i have a mohawk when i can be fucked i havent shaved it since last summer..

that hardcore-fashion site made me feel depressed....or jsut sorry for people who take it seriously......those "fade" haircuts make the boys look like g.is. although real g.is prefer to wear little "sean combs" visors atop their hairdos and lots of bling bling chains. ahhh, now theres some style.
suxOr.......i love you, you're a fuckin funny cunt. someone get me a man with tight white jeans, thats all i need.

Makes me laugh when punks say stuff like "fuck fashion"

Punk is all about fashion....if every punk gave up his leather jacket and patches and all the rest of that rubbish and just wore some crappy k mart t shirt shorts and a sweatshirt then they could start talking. Scott, he makes "punk clothes" and patches and stuff and im sure hed agree. Its all about fashion.
