'new-skool / emo ' dickies, wallet chain, plaid shirt or band tshirt, flexfit cap, chuck taylors... ive described matt to a 't' (no disrespect)
'old-skool' - see above casualties picture - the rabble
'crust' leather spiked jacket, patched pants, sleeveless amebix / dystopia tshirt, mohawk - veggie anarkrust
'gutter-trash' - old shorts / pants with patches of everything from bands to sea world australia, clothes found in salvation army / gutter / mosh pit, eat from rubbish bins - i used to be, dunno who else
'thug core' - hoodie / b-ball singlet, big shorts, cap, bling bling chains - seen phattnutz like this, also dillon bareknuckle brawl
'rock n roll / slick hxc' - tight jeans, creepers / chucks, tight band tshirts (often old metal tees), slick hair, - angelo, me these days
emo doenst count as 'style'
wear what you want do what you want
in the same vein as what dave said, dont spend $100 on a pair of shorts when you could go to a million gigs for that much.
