The Exorcist - It's time to change the world

Postby mic_hogger » Thu Apr 14, 2005 3:11 pm

Ok, it has been a while since they put out their CD but these nigggahs definitely deserve some respect. The exorcist is a band that gets back to what life is meant to be all about - excercise! This band is definitely the most amazing band in the world today.

since purchasing this amazing album all that goes through my head is “run bike jump swim, swim and bike and run, run bike swim…”. Brainwashing, it may be, but it is for a good cause. You will be motivated after just one listen to not only the lyrics but also the catchy music.

In some songs I hear influences of other NZ hard core bands. The production is amazing for a CD going for $2. I don’t think you can really make it through this album without having an overriding desire to get on your bike and go for a strenuous cycle. One might say it’s infectious.

There’s no two ways about this, you have to get this album. If not something you will treasure forever, at least it might provide a laugh for those flicking through the real groovy bins.

So to the guys of the exorcist, “you’re doing great, keep it up”.

best part of it all was Dave not knowing the 'evil priest' riff was actually a metallica riff, hahaha.
