me and a few of my friends fricken love this band, you can pick up their latest, 'the silent circus' from real groovy for like 34.95(or, for a much cheaper option, order either from rhydian through his distro for a mere $20 each. :!: ) they used to have the old self titled but it's since been sold. the old cd isnt bad in terms of technicality but tommy really stepped up his game on the silent circus vox wise.also if you enjoy these guys, check out Glass Casket on abacus records.

Pretty much one of my favourite bands ever. Killer everything. Guitarists and Vocalist are particularly amazing.

The second half of Mordecai gives me goosebumps. The rest of the album is amazing also. Their first CD is fucking mean too... but is more breakdown orientated, but still has the amazing melodic parts.

Their guitarist an old drummer used to be in Prayer For Cleansing also.

i quite like the fact that their singer has such a heavy voice and then you look at him and hes tiny. awesome.
yeah awesome riffs. i love it. i just freaking love it.
i wish nz had the funding/demand/infrastructure to support our own bands like this. tis a shame that most people just want to listen to digestable 3 1/2 minute songs.

I've only heard a few tracks mostly from Silent Circus I think. It's pretty good stuff. Mordecai's freaking awesome.

Yeah. it sucks that bands like one must fall are '2nd rate' to bullshit like elemeno p. i cant stand bands who havent paid their dues. (elemeno p's first show was opening for sum 41). i cant really measure a bands success, mainly because im not sure what their goals are but i sure hope nz, maybe not in a majority sense, picks up on a lot of the awesome shit in the nz underground. so i applaud indy labels and distro's that help out with local talent whether it be punk, metal or hardcore or whatever.
