I don't think anyone can, it's like Power Violence, noone actually likes it as a genre, its terrible and just as nonsensical as the second season of Twin Peaks.

Honestly though, i dont totally disagree with yous. I fuckin hated Mulholland Drive cause i thought it was overly ambiguous pretentious crap. But Twin Peaks is waaaaaay more coherent. And i dig the surrealist influence in Lynch's stuff, as long as it doesn't get too vague. Twin Peaks gets hugely overhyped by people, but it didnt disappoint me at all when I watched it.

Now back to the trash talk:

Took myself to see them them a couple years back at one of my favourite DIY venues, which is closing down to make way for a fucking autobahn extension. I guess it is closed down now anyway. This is a classic. i never went to eindhoven, don´t know why. friends went there.

at 18.33 min. you can see the (Frank) Zappa sons Dweezil & Ahmet Zappa at the Dynamo Open Air 1993. they played two sets (10 and 35 minutes) and covered around 120 songs. sometimes only just a riff. absolutly excellent!

Fun fact: Vanessa Warwick from MTV dont know who is Frank Zappa.

Surreal to look at. No kids' menu shown in the vid so mostly just recognise some of the desserts. Prolly hooned the banana split more than anything. Used to find their whipped cream a bit gross though - not sweet at all.
