Caught Suspiria on Sky, I hope Ant Timpson runs it at one of his festivals some time cause seeing it loud in a theatre would be something else. The creepy electronic music by Italian band Goblin, the weird old school technicolor, the truly horrifying murder 10 minutes into the movie.... this is a masterpiece.

I'm watching the Xena/Hercules cross over episode, Gabriele and Eolis are just flirting in the gift shop as we speak/ (I type). Man the cinematography is actually pretty innovative, the set building shocking, acting terrible, it's pretty mean! The later seasons with the comical and wildly melodramatic sound effects. Fuck yeah

The Plot Against America, an alternative history in which Charles Lindberg jumps on the populist anti-semite bandwagon and gets elected in the US, so that US cosies up to the Nazis and stays out of the war. Could easily have happened in the political climate of the time, people were getting a bit tired of Roosevelt's New Deal socialism... and of course the modern parallels are obvious, though the novel by Philip Roth was written several years ago.
