I just wee-ed a little.

Tragically my ecologist brain threw a little "fragile desert ecosystem" thought in there half way through.
Anyone know where it was made?
Edit: Namibia. And apparently there were conservation issues.

Thought the interceptor was gorne by the time 3 happened. That means that this is going to retcon everything? Is it a remake or a sequel? Either way it looks to be channeling the spirit of MM@ which is obviously the best option. Better be more rad aussie muscle in there as well - the XB is well and good but be rad to have Vals, HQs, P76s, XDs and whatever in there too.

Ha, the P76 would be a cameo like Mel Gibson, in the background and up on blocks

Yeah it's a goddamn reboot, but as far as they go this looks pretty on the money. Looks mostly like the road warrior so i'm guessing they're starting around then in the old story so all the vehicles are likely going to be post-apoc-as.

Is it a reboot? I thought Miller said it was a straight up sequel? Mad Max 4...

True true. Though I guess it's all retconned seeing as Max has the interceptor again.

When movie sequels involve undoing lore from earlier in the series it may as well be a reboot.

I guess there is a chance that he has come across another one? And/or rebuilt one out of parts.

Yeah I guess, got it running on methanol or something? if it's set after MM2 isn't most of the petrol used up anyway, hence bartertown and it's aforementioned pigs?

"One of the last of the Ford V8 Interceptors"

There used to be one mounted above the gates of a wrecking yard outside Adelaide. He might have got it from there...

Looks like the car only lasts the first ten seconds of the movie, anyway. Just like the second flick, I guess.

'I Like It When You Die' is the fourth album by American grindcore band Anal Cunt. The album was originally titled You're Gay, and the album cover was going to contain a mirror, but this idea was later changed

Might give it a miss ay, doesn't look true to the original, you can't really have mad max without Mel Gibson anyway, the scenery looks wrong and the special effects look overwrought and obvious CGI.

Nah, just fuckin kidding, this looks so rad, the special effects look downright goddamn fucking amazing, the desert looks epic and fuck Mel Gibson with extreme prejudice, I actually love that he's being usurped, I haven't been this excited about a movie since they said they were making the machete trailer into a full movie, I hope it turns out better than that(off it will), and I hope the move can maintain the pace that the trailer seems to promise.
