I think the religious stuff is unavoidable- this was 1000 years ago, gods were in everyday life. I like how the stories are based on the classic Viking sagas .

I have an unhealthy crush on Floki. I always have had questionable taste in men...

Just watched S4E18 'Revenge' - Have enjoyed this series from the start and hadn't realised S4 was continued until just the other weekend. Been a great binge!

No, but it gives insight into how the people may have been, dramatised and speculative as it is.

There's nothing wrong with having characters who are deeply religious, it would be super weird if they didn't. But having gods as actual character that appear (and are not just hallucinations), like the show does, Is super dumb.
