Shane is my favourite character to be honest. He's been the highlight of this season for me.

Hanging out for Michonne and Abraham.
I guess you really need to ask yourself... What Would Graeme Do?

Im struggling with this series as it is but if they leave Michonne / her sword out I'm gunna firebomb Frank Darabont's house.

Robert Kirkman said in an interview at the end of season one that he plans on introducing Michonne earlier than in the comics

I hope they make that character a real person in the TV series and not the weird written-by-a-14-year-old-boy fantasy thing she was in the comics.

Then again, the comics in general weren't very well written. At least the TV series has toned down the big emotional pointless monologues. Although there is still the odd one.

Yes and no, theres some fantastic story arcs in the comics but also some sinkers.

If they keep it going, I'm picking;

S3 - Prison / The Governor

S4 - Washington Misson / Safe Zone

Yeah, I think the story arcs were good - it's the detailed stuff that was wobbly. I actually think the prison was a great idea, both practically and in terms of the metaphor.

I gave up the comics around issue 80, so they hadn't made it to Washington at that point. So maybe it gets stronger?

As of #91 they still haven't hit Washington but there's this mean as safe zone community they get invited to join.

It's a fucking mean arc, with such gems as...

Damn, pulled off #100 pretty well

Glenn hasn't had much action this half of the season so wouldn't surprise me if they stick to the comic. Daryl is loved about as much as Glenn was on the TV show though....

Well. I am somewhat traumatised by s07e01.

Glenn's beating and the eyeball and his apparent suffering was just too much for my kind old heart. I'm so upset at the show rn. I was happy about it being wassisname, but then in true Walking Dead fashion they rip away your sense of security and drag your emotions over coals. Bunch of cunts.

Oh well. Can't wait for the next episode.

I'm so happy with how that ep played out my copy of #100 jumped in value by about $70.

Yeah man, despite my continued disappointment with the show, that was incredible. Couple of shots that were brilliant takes from the comic

Tim Shadbolts reaction is exactly how I felt after reading episode 100, I'm amazed/impressed I ended up feeling exactly the same after watching that episode, really didn't think they'd pull it off.
