Part of me really wants to see the whole house of cards crumble and have the next season following the discovery and subsequent investigation of Dexter's murders. I think having him go on trial and then Miami coming out and supporting him for his vigilantism would be sweet.

It would have been cooler that happening with Rita still alive and losing her shit but meh, this last stab from trinity twist was dece.

The 5th book is supposed to explore Dexter's foray into cannibalism.

Hes probably my most hated character on there. So fucking one dimensional its ridiculous, and they already had a character that was just as one dimensional and thankfully killed him off in a really awesome way. "hey look at me, im always suspicious of stuff".

Edit on the Dex bandwagon just bought season 3 from Aus since New Zealand is never getting it since NZ hates Dexter.

Him and Deb are definately going to fuck - there was that throwaway line 'If you lock two people in a room long enough, eventually they're gonna fuck' - no way was that line just filler.

In fact, I reckon the crux of season 5 might be her starting to fuck quin, then deb finding out about dex, then protecting dex from Quin's hounding, just a stab in the dark?

I was a bit annoyed by Harry in this season. Showing up in his angelic light and acting like one of those NPCs in a computer game, just following Dexter about like some kind of undead buzzkill.

def needs way less harry. he was already annoying in S3. i prefer dexter talking in his head during situations far more than dexter talking to ghost dad every five fucking minutes.

How does Dex get rid of Rita / gallons of blood and explain her death to the kids / Deb etc without people figuring out that Dex is linked with Trinity?

the whole rita death thing blew my mind but i had a couple of problems with it:
the voicemail, how did it only just beep when he got home, after it was clearly left hours before.
i think someone might have noticed a baby screaming in a bathroom for hours on end, seems dodgy that it only just starts to cry as Dex arrives at home.

so arthur had the last laugh... i rewatched the scene where he is on the table, and when dexter mentions his family, he just smirks.

Maybe it was screaming before and only started again when it heard someone enter. Their neighbours could be like me and not give a rats ass why the fucking child is screaming next door. I just assume all children scream all the fucking time for no reason.
