Still watching Derek, 5 episodes in, and it's the most genuinely touching tv I've seen in years. I was really sick of Ricky Gervais, cause he's seemed like such a fucking tosser in recent years, but after this I'm not sure sure. Hilarious in parts too. I disagree completely with the comments that he's being exploitive with the show too, because it really doesn't exploit Derek at all, if anything he's the nicest character in the show, always making other people look fucking stupid.

Not feeling that at all.

Started watching Justified, which feels like a present-day Deadwood reboot centred primarily around Seth Bullock. Maybe it's because Timothy Olyphant is pretty much playing the exact same character. Anyway, S01E01 was reasonably entertaining, might give the rest of the season a go.

Also checked out Vikings S01E01, which is pretty much a viking-era Sons of Anarchy reboot centred primarily around Jax Teller.

He's pretty much the opposite of Seth Bullock, it'll get more and more obvious. Even though he is a tough cowboy hat wearing lawman in both.

yeah that's kinda what i was leaning toward. he seems a little less flexible than Bullock but his mannerisms are pretty similar. He should've like... put on a silly voice or something.

Went and saw Hitchcock, fairly mean. A few great moments for fans of his stuff. Hopkins is the man also.

Want to watch Vikings just haven't had time. I watched 2 eps of Justified and couldn't get into it.

Yeah I slugged through episodes 2 and 3 the other night, it's not really doing it for me.

I'm just biding my time until Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad start up again. Finished S1 of House of Cards also, that took a decidedly fuckin' dark turn around Episode 11 8O

I had a mixture of the two. Some were actually german versions, which meant I had to translate an entire sms conversation :/

Pretty stoked season 2 is nearly finished, best thing is that Netflix puts the entire season up on day one so there's no waiting week by week. The webrips shouldn't take long after that at all.

RADIOACTIVE WOLVES!

Lacks... radioactive wolves.. but still quite interesting about the area contaminated by the Chernobyl disaster 1986.. and the wildlife roaming now.

The Life Of Pi
Loved the shit out of this, so rad to see something different. And with heaps of awesome animals. I nearly felt a bit sea sick there for a sec but other than that so rad. Wouldn't be for everyone tho.
Image
Party Down
How have i missed this? So many lols. Really good.
Image
Bad Education
That funny posh prat guy teaching a bunch of misfits. Kinda like 'Teachers' but not quite as funny imho. Has some really good awkward/un-pc bits which are pretty lolzy. Nothing overly original tho.
Image
West of Memphis
Great doco, interesting outcome.
Image
Lincoln
Put this one off for ages coz i kinda thought it would be all boring n shit, but honestly, was pretty rad. Daniel Day Lewis is the dude, dudes. I loved the bit when it sort of eluded to Lincolns rumored homosexuality.
Image
The Life Aquatic
Man, i musta been so fucked up when i watched this the first time coz i couldn't remember any of it. So it was like seeing it for the first time. Really loved it. Max Bill Murray action, visually superb and kinda cute all round.
Image
Zero Dark Thirty
The hunt for Osama from 9-11 till they got him, fucking good. Not sure why it was so controversial tho, must have been to do with the torture or something. Wish i had downloaded a higher resolution one tho. Great acting all the way through too.
