On the cover of Suresh's Dad's book, black space in the green code on Suresh's laptop, in Isaac's paintings, written in felt pen on Claire's geometry book, the Haitian wears it on a string around his neck - hell, it's even in the floats in the swimming pool when Parkman finds the little girl survivour.

And that was just in that episode or two...I certainly didn't notice that first time round...

yeah its everywhere! its the RNA symbol, there's a list of where it turns up on wikipedia...

I watched the first 3 episodes and was so bored I ended up deleting the whole rest of the first season...There was the tortured teen, the confused brother, the skeleton in the closet Father who may have something to do with his daughters powers...And all of it seemed really obvious straight off the bat. I felt like I was watching Smallville or something. Can't I just read my old Generation-X comics? At least then they had mean fight scenes.

What is the deal.

i watch the first episode again the other night with my girlfriend and noticed a couple of things:

1)when mohinder goes into his father's apartment he picks up a photo of himself and his father at his graduation. the guy in the photo is a completely different actor to the one playing his father in subsequent episodes.

2)the image that isaac paints of the manhattan explosion, the bottom of the mushroom cloud sorta looks like the head and shoulders+arms of a man

err read this somewhere, sorry matt i guess eccleston is going to be on heroes after all :P

Episode 1.12: Godsend
Airdate: January 22, 2007

01/16 - Picking up two weeks after recent events, Nathan's determination to save a comatose Peter forces him to turn to Simone (Tawny Cypress) for help. Isaac's puzzling "Hiro vs. T-Rex" painting inspires Hiro and Ando (guest star James Kyson Lee) to search for the pictured samurai sword. Jessica struggles against Niki's decision to turn herself into police. With his associate Eden dead and Matt on his heels, H.R.G. tries to focus on his orders regarding Sylar (guest star Zachary Quinto). After being offered a choice by the Haitian (guest star Jimmy Jean-Louis), Claire struggles with changes her decision has wrought. Taking up his father's quest, Suresh attempts to share information about who is "on the list" of people with special abilities and the threats to their lives. Meanwhile, a new hero (guest star Christopher Eccleston) makes a shocking debut. Leonard Roberts and Noah Gray-Cabey also star. Thomas Dekker, Clea DuVall, Lisa Lackey and Cristine Rose guest star. Source: NBC

01/16 - A female character is written off (possibly forever). Hiro has a run-in with a T-Rex. A major scene from the pilot gets reenacted. An estranged couple patches things up. A hero's powers begin to diminish. There's an unexpected (and pretty frakkin' hilarious) reunion between two heroes. Source: The Ausiello Report

The second season (if it's like the book) will be fuckin rad

Sucks Michael C. Hall didn't win the Golden Globe he got nominated for.

The FBI estimates that there are less than 50 serial killers active in the U.S. today. We don't get together at conventions, share trade secrets, or exchange Christmas cards. But sometimes I wonder what it's like for others. - Dexter Morgan

Cheers for posting that ep, YouAgain.

And yeah, the second Dexter book will have to be heavily changed, even though they set it up in the first season with all the Haitiian stuff. The plot has to change in a number of ways - hell, for example they can't have Deb fall in love at the drop of a hat AGAIN or else she'll just look like a total sucker.

I reckon she should bust out her contortionist moves from The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

And I found the books a wee bit shit - the second is better written than the first, but both are hack jobs with lousy character development and simple plots. Really, the dude just had a mint idea for a lead character and that's it...the TV series is massively superior, in my opinion.
