I'm really enjoying Legion but get the feeling it's just too out there for a wide audience so will get canned after it's second season.
I guess you really need to ask yourself... What Would Graeme Do?

Not Oliver Stone's best. Very cheesy in places. Great story. Worth a hoon.

Your Name - Really enjoyed this. Clever, funny, very pretty and the animation/artwork was sensational. The sound design was awesome too. Great movie to see on the big screen.

Been laughing my ass off at season 1 of this. Refreshing as fuck, and Maria Bamford is such a fucking legend I'd probably like it even if it was a bit shit. Kooky as fuck but also light and breezy. Recommend it to anyone who's a fan of any of her previous work, eg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdzXLZusktA

Bates Motel started again yesterday haven't watched the last two seasons it got a bit drawn out for me, watched Psycho a few months ago for the first time...A lot of things felt really familiar about it though, so maybe it wasn't the first time.

This season seems a lot darker though and they've promised that it'll end with the events of the movie.

I was slightly confused watching it too, until I remembered that I'd seen the 1998 colour remake which stayed very true to the original.

Historically interesting I suppose, but dated as fuck, sexist, racist, homophobic, you name it. The opening titles say "Rated NPA - No Poofters Allowed". According to the censorship.govt.nz site it was originally banned in NZ, but overturned on appeal.

Spike Milligan only has about a minute of screen time and is completely wasted in this. Peter Cook is good as always. Film quality is good and has been cleaned up nicely for DVD.

Peter Thiel is even creepier than you imagine. Gawker was kind of trashy but it did do a few public services, like outing the reddit creep who posted pictures of underage girls for fapping purposes. Thiel held a grudge against them for outing him as gay a few years ago, so he used his money to bankroll Hulk Hogan's case. Aren't we proud to have him as a fellow kiwi now?

Arabic mafia drama set in Neukölln (a lot of it taking place around my old neighbourhood). Looks awesome but I can only understand bits and pieces and can't find any episodes with subtitles. :?

this looks good, will watch, but i wish someone would do a king arthur movie based on bernard cornwells arthurian series, no fantasy, no dragons, just dark and gritty, post-roman britain, the native britons fighting the invading saxons, and the shaman merlins obsession with bringing back the old gods by finding a missing cauldron(the origin of the grail legend).
