Oh no it's GBH again... (AK/WELL 5&6 March)

Postby NOIDEAWOTEVER » Tue Jan 26, 2016 5:48 pm

Apologies to the South Island peeps as an Australian promoter booked the tour and I've only just come on board to help them.

Was a great tour back in 2010 so I'm sure it will be the same this time around. Tickets available from Slow Boat Records Welly and www.undertheradar.co.nz

It's got Bevan from G/F on vocals as well as other members from well known NZ bands. Not quite Rockstar Super Nova but a kind of NZ punk super group if you will..

Oh woah, cool. Good to see Bevans getting another project on the go, Garage Fodder are a band iv'e always enjoyed/admired. When they opened for the Exploited (at the Galatos?) many moons ago they shat all over Watties uber average performance. Look forward to getting some recordings from ScumBeat! RipFacer ruled at punkfest15 too, should be a good as show.

Charter 77 are opening in Melbourne, local punk legends from yesteryear so it should be a bit of a knee slapping good time.

Try get them to play Te Puke Thunder!!!!

I might be in Wellington the night of that show. Hopefully.
'I Like It When You Die' is the fourth album by American grindcore band Anal Cunt. The album was originally titled You're Gay, and the album cover was going to contain a mirror, but this idea was later changed

I'll ask them Dave.

And although GBH spell it "Tipuki Thunder" it is indeed about the actual "Te Puke Thunder". Apparently they had a NZ friend in the UK who turned them on to it...
