Right Wing Resistance Chris. The bloody Nazis.
It only really got attention because of the confrontations, so my prediction is if no punks show up Flag day will get less and less attention and fade away. Which would be great because its fucking daft and the RWR are a bunch of cracked out loonies.

I say leave them but keep an eye on them. If they ever seem to be growing beyond the usual small cluster of loons then that is a time to fuck with their shit. At the moment they are a joke, but I worry about their potential appeal to angry young white working class men in the absence of a radical progressive alternative path, seeing those circles in NZ are largely dominated by bourgeois types who form weird little sects based on policing each other for potentially offensive and dissenting behaviour. The descent of some anarchist elements in NZ into what I would describe as proto-totalitarian mind control cults is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen.

Oh haha, fuck, yeah, we're the dreaded left. Don't hate the Nazi, hate the fucked up ideology, except when the Nazi is an irredeemable dick. Some of my best friends are 'Nazis'. Can't wait to see them again, got some meeeean ammo to use against them, Volkswagens anyone?

Nah I believe Darren has cut his ties due to the crack element in the RWR.

It's not just New Zealand though. This lady below is describing an offshoot of a group at a protest against mountaintop coal mining in the Appalachians that started up on a board I used to post on based in the States. I mostly avoid it now due to the overbearing emphasis on using über-pc language and all hell breaks loose if you dare deviate.

In fact, with some stellar exceptions, there was a pervasive atmosphere of cliquishness and, in some individuals, an overweening self-importance that was downright obnoxious. It was more pronounced than anything I encountered at Occupy. For a movement that wants to expand, they might want to consider some sort of systemic outreach, because for a newcomer to join it is quite overwhelming and requires mastering new terminology that almost amounts learning a new language, not to mention norms that seem bizarre to the uninitiated — like announcing, at every single meeting, your preferred gender pronoun along with your name. Seriously? I prefer She, Her, He, His, They?

I’m 57 years old, so perhaps I don’t understand the zeitgeist of the younger generation’s elaborate concerns about gender identities, personal space, and rules about touching. I wonder if this cohort is justifiably more aware and explicit about boundaries, or whether perhaps they are reacting to a lifetime of exposure to too much casual pornography, erosion of respect, or even sexual assault. One girl related to me her anger that her boyfriend refused to use a condom which resulted in her contracting an STD. Well, I suppose there’s nothing new about that.

The “Rainbow People,” a scruffy lot of vagabonds who travel on a dilapidated old bus, departed after being publicly chastised for saying “you guys” instead of “y’all” and not accepting the onus of white male privilege, among other transgressions. They also resented being told that they had to wear shirts and not peace signs. Hippie is an image shunned by most activists.

Fuck that. If I'm protesting about the removal of a mountain top I don't care about or want to know anything of your personal problems. That shit is exactly what I'm talking about. The "process" is not very effective at changing people's minds anyway because when ever I have encountered it I've just largely smiled and nodded. Fucks given, zero.

i hate people like this more than everything i hate them so much i want to cry and stamp my foot
these cunts are what made punkfest a complete farce, no touching people in the moshpit, 'safe zones' for women only, if a woman doesnt like a guy they have to leave, amazing levels of fuckery, im glad punkfest is dead cos it was fucked anyway.

Maybe you should have backed off when she said no, huh? That prob would have worked, too, although granted it wouldn't have given you such a convenient scapegoat that you can use to hide your own failings.

In conclusion: nobody cares, and we certainly are getting sick of the same old sob story over and over.

what 'it' are you even talking about? you are erxactly the kind of bullshit cunt that makes these rumours up in the first place.
and i wasnt even talking about myself, people who have actually been to punkfest have often commented and complained about the PC hippy fascists who ran everything, and those kind of mentals are what the topic of conversation had turned to, there was no call to make yet another false accusation.

Then pray tell exactly why you feel the need to constantly make negative comments about the organisers if it isn't related to your rape allegations? I thought you had to come to terms with that - but it certainly doesn't seem like it given your recent posting.

Ok. I get it. It is all a massive conspiracy and they are just a pack of evil, vindictive, shitheads trying to bring you down because you are way more punx than them.

Look: however it went down all this bullshit you are spouting now is just playing into their hands. Be the bigger man and give it up. You are your own worse enemy here. Reading your posts all I can think of is "What's his ulterior motive here? Why is he so pissed off?" and I've been around for long enough to put 2 and 2 together.
