Top albums of 2017

Postby Dead Kid » Tue Dec 19, 2017 7:33 am

Curious about non-punx releases too so guzziya lists. My top 10 never looked so punkless but Cosmo Kramer Und Der Stälkers is worth 100 punkas points so... :tohlc:

1. Monarch - Never Forever
2. Dopelord - Children of the Haze
3. Stalker - Shadow of the Sword
4. Into Orbit - Unearthing
5. Danzig - Black Laden Crown
6. Hobo Magic - The World Today
7. Arc of Ascent - Realms of the Metaphysical
8. Battle Beast - Bringer of Pain
9. Enter the Soil - That Amber Lit Morning
10. Pagan Altar - The Room of Shadows

Also good:

Over-Population - Civilization and Its Discontents
Bottle - Where Here Is
Overkill - The Grinding Wheel
The Stungrenades - Class War: Fight Back!
Black Science - Burn & Rave
Intergracia - Rise of the Incubus

Bloodnut topped my list last year, but St. Ranga doesn't really do it for me. You can tell they recorded it demo-style on a weekend. Opening track is killer though.

Björk has done a mellow one, d'oh.

In no particular order...

Institute - Subordination
Ragana - You Take Nothing
Downtown Boys - Cost of Living
Bad Breeding - Divide
Naomi Punk - Yellow
Taiwan Housing Project - Veblen Death Mask
Dreamdecay - YÚ
ARSE - Primitive Species
No Balls - More Is More
YC-CY - Todestanz

Can I include some EPs too?

P.S Pauli Boi - You might like that Ragana album if you don't already know it...

Sure, let the EPs flow freely. Hadn't heard Ragana, seems deece. Though dunno if I could get fully used to the vocals.
