Molest The Episcopate

Postby xCaptainx » Wed Apr 07, 2010 12:47 am

Born from the smouldering fires of a veritable feast of New Zealand's best heavy acts, Auckland City's MOLEST THE EPISCOPATE formed in early 2010 as a collaboration between Ross McDougall (ex-Antagonist AD), Jeremy Suckling (Dawn of Azazel), Paul Blomfield (ex-Force Fed Trauma), Gareth Craze (ex-Graymalkin) and Josh Hughes (Bloodletting). The mission statement of the band is simple: to perform cruel, modern death metal as ugly as it is titantically heavy, and to stand aesthetically and lyrically in stark, unwavering opposition to religion of all stripes, socialism, pacifism, environmentalism and the anti-thought cults of modern liberalism and conservatism alike

The band are currently engaged in intense rehearsals ahead of upcoming live performances and will soon release a short showcasing demo of their work to the general public Bio

More sweep-picking riffs please.

No disrepect to any of the other bands that these members are from but M.T.E. is so much more interesting to listen to.

Well done guys.

Gareth did.

I'm vegetarian and pro on quite a few of those things.

The lyrics are Gareths game, I'm in it for the music and to have fun.

Sorry bro, didn't realise I was required to adhere to your own literary sensibilities.

When we've actually got shows, releases.....y'know, STUFF, under our belts, I'll be sure to flesh it out for ya

Whos in the front of that picture? Light effects make him look like a really big circus midget.

Not dissing you expressing your opinions at all bro, just had a bit of a laugh at the smouldering fires and intense rehearsals. Calm down.

It should probably read "a short demo showcasing their work for the general public".

Remember, grammar can be metal too.

^ Either makes fine grammatical sense.

And Grant, no beef - realised you weren't dissing.....all calm here.

I suppose they both can be, but "showcasing demo" is a pleonasm because a demo is already showcasing your music.

Or it could be that a demo is demonstrating our music, and we plan to showcase it as well...

Or it could just be waffly band bio guff...

As you already know i think this is good stuff.

Although that shine effect makes Gareth look like he has the highest crotch in the universe. especially when you blur your eyes a bit.

I have actually just wet myself in terror at how brutal this upcoming band must be. Just look at all the stuff that they're against. They must be the most uncompromisingly law of the strong type cunts ever, and we all must quiver before them. I'm just really impressed down here, and I hope against hope that you all don't come down and kill me with the sheer power of your brutalness.

There's lots of freely available counseling services you can use to alleviate your pain, mind you, that would be pretty non-brutal and lacking in cruelty.

I think this band would be more interesting if it was combined with a funny cartoon, like Dethklok.
