Guilty Pleasures
What's some music that you're kind of ashamed of for enjoying?
I like this song, even though it's painfully fucking gay (edit: it is really, really fucking bad):

Though I like a whole heap of shitty music, not much of it I would actually be embarrassed about.
P.S. Don't have a whinge if you punish yourself by actually playing that track.

Thin Lizzy, Van Halen, Neil Diamond, Kiss, Ted Nugent... I'll think of some more later.

Thin Lizzy and Van Halen are nothing to be ashamed of.

i mean i can list some bands like silverchair, korn, my chemical romance etc, that most people here would prob cringe over, but i don't even give a shit
not a guilty pleasure if you don't feel guilty about it
and why would someone feel guilty about shit they enjoy

Re: Guilty Pleasures
i really like HIM, and don't give a fuck about it.
i thought they were kind of a shitty gimmick until i saw 'em live - that was fuckin hilarious, just chatting to one and other on stage, smoking weed and totally ignoring the droves of screaming girls who had shown up to fawn over ville vallo. oh and the bassplayer is a walking trash heap so that scores points in my books. great songs, too.

Fuck, way to turn a pretty simple thread into a queer fest eric and lucas.
Vitamin C, shes fucking terrible but I like a couple of her songs and have her album stashed away at home from when I worked at the warehouse and got it for $4 minus staff discount. Fucking ruled.
I like heaps of pop songs though, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga spring to mind for some good pop ive seen lately, oh and whoever does the new ipod song. Catchy as fuck.

3 Inches of Blood. I guess I'm just sorry I force them on so many people.
Chromeo.
In fact, these days most of the music I listen to regularly would be considered painful by other people. Oh well.

Re: Guilty Pleasures
Almost everything I listen to.
Bonnie Tyler's greatest hits have been on high rotation lately, as has all my old hip hop from high school, and who can forget Pat Benatar.
or dashboard confessional, maybe.

I listen to lots of terrible stuff - Pantera, Cro-Mags, Machine Head, Fist, Samson, White Spirit, and lots of early 80's punk bands. But I enjoy it. No guilt here.

Yeah, I thought there would be some really atrocious stuff in this thread, but most of it so far isn't even that bad. Can someone please YouTube some of the most fuckbad songs they enjoy, songs that make you cringe yet you still like them.

Re: Guilty Pleasures
Bon Jovi, Mindless Self Indulgence, Tiger Army, Mad Caddies (or any cheesey 90s ska-pop-punk really), um... Offspring/No Doubt/Sublime/ shit that reminds me of my childhood like that
I'm not really a fan, but I like singing Limp Bizkit and Vanilla Ice songs.
