So after years of living in shitty cell-rooms, I'm finally getting enough space to justify some decent speakers..
Everyone seems real keen on these flash wireless 5.1/7.1 home theatre setups these days, but music is my priority so I can probably make do with a good stereo/monitor setup.
Advice appreciated on stuff like how much I need to budget for a solid setup, whether I should get amp/speakers seperately or as a complete setup, and what I need to watch out for?
Also I'd love a valve amp, but I know those are pretty pricey, and run way less power output than digital/transistor ones.. anyone running one or know about using them for a home setup?
