maeari acoustic guitar?

i has one of these, its been hiding in the back of closets, behind couches and under beds since i bought it in an ill advised attempt to be a rock star nearly 20 years ago.
wee bit battered, broken nylon strings etc, certainly seems pretty standard to me.
just wanna know if it has any value, cos i wanna sand it back and burn some designs on it.

Apparently they were made in Korea by Hyundai briefly. Hyundai still use the name Maeari for some piano parts that they manufacture. It probably wasn't worth anything.

I'm not sure about that, I just saw a 1987 Meari on ebay fetch $2,200. Phil you REALLY should have checked ebay before ruining it!
