Loop pedal (bass)

Postby garyasfulla » Fri May 18, 2012 2:37 pm

Hey,

Does anyone here own a loop pedal or know of any quality types/ones to avoid? And by loop I mean the type where you can play something, hit a button, and it will keep looping that around. Preferably one that can store more than a couple of loops etc.

Found this but not sure if its shit? (or difficult to use) http://www.trademe.co.nz/music-instrume ... 840569.htm Seems to have the functions I'm after at a glance.

Wanting one that I can use for my bass guitar mainly for practicing purposes and forever alone jams, but also may adapt to band stuff so want something fairly reliable just incase.

All opinions/tips/advice concerning them would be helpful as I've never used one

Cheers!

I've used the single pedal boss (RC2?) and the huge (500X200mm) boss one, both are good at what they do.
I use a tascam CD-GT2 and sometimes the looper on my DD20 (up to 20sec loop, no overdubs) for practice.
For practicing, check out the tascam trainers as alternative to loopers: cd gt2, mp gt2, and the bass versions, and the gb 10.

If you do get a single pedal looper (like your link or RC2) get the extra footswitch, makes it way easier to use.

Garry,

Take output and shove in your ass, then take input and put in pedal

does that help?
