Importing drum heads?

Postby timi » Mon Oct 03, 2011 1:33 pm

Can anyone recommend somewhere selling Evans/Remo heads with good shipping prices?

Not a heap on ebay and most of the shipping charges double if you want two heads.

Amazon is surprisingly really good.

For just under NZ$200 you could get new Remo batter heads for a 4 piece kit (including freight).

Cheers! Never bothered checking there because they don't ship any other music gear out of the US...

Yeah, I kinda stumbled upon how good they were when I bought a new cymbal case from there. Every site that I approached before that was quoting me ridiculous amounts for freight (in the $100US area and upwards) but Amazon's shipping was a fraction of the cost ($30NZ) and damn quick, even with the slowest freight option.

edit: spam post was deleted, should've quoted it...
