Postby Hipster_Faggot » Sat Dec 25, 2010 4:49 pm

Looking at spending $150 at the most, Boss Digital Delay the way to go?

Don't really know my stuff here so any advice would be great.

Got some elsewhere. Can't go wrong for $23 USD.

I would have spent a bit more money and gone with something that won't crap out on you, try a LINE 6 Delay Modeler.

Yes you can. Check out the cheap build. The switch is a joke. The sound quality drops considerably when this is in your signal chain. Listen to how badly it tracks as you alter the settings.

Should have waited.

could have got a Modtone Vintage Analogue delay pedal for $145 from Ryan @ Custom Audio Boutique. They are great pedals.

But he was looking at digital delay, two very different things.

Yeah true. Just saw the word 'cheap' and I liked the modtone that I had. Figured he was only suggestion the Boss as it's pretty standard.

First bass setup i bought included a Behringer speaker cab. Wish I'd found out they're a notoriously shit brand before I bought it. $400 isn't that much but I can't ever get that back, even though the thing still works.

I think I paid 400 for my used SWR 4x10 and that lasted me for ages
