getting my bass serviced by who?

Postby Grave Dancer » Fri Aug 07, 2009 6:02 pm

i was originally going to just biff my bass at my guitarist when he went to get his gats serviced, but apparently his guy's gone AWOL.

who'd be a good guy to give my instrument a once over? hyuck hyuck

i hear that its best to avoid the rockshop at all costs, and i'd like someone to actually check out the electronics in it because the active setting has always had an earthing problem

I've got some work I want done on my gats at some point, how do I get to this Kenny dude's shop? I've looked all over manners st. (ie I did a really half-arsed look) and can't find it.

I think its spelt, Zetwitz. Hes in auckland, does repairs, setups, restorations and all that.
All I know is that the guy from the rock shop told me not to give it to them because it was a waste of money, he gave me the Zetwitz number and recomended him.

picked up bass yesterday. glyn replaced a new bridge (that wasn't a direct replacement) for me, sorted out the pots and jack, cleaned frets/buffed fret board then set the bass up perfectly, cost $80. oh and gave it a nice polish at the end. stoked and will use him again.

Be careful, wouldn't take your bass to Glyn if it's a nameless brand.
