dave grohl is actually a fuckin amazing drummer. it's not completely crazy to partially attribute the success of 'smells like teen spirit' to his drum performance.... that song would suck a cock without that drumming on it...


Have read that Dave Grohl is one of the easiest drummers to track, super consistent. However found out recently that they did a heap of sampling and triggered drum sounds on Nevermind.

on that lemmy doco he just listens to the click track to count in and just throws the headphones away once he starts playing. he's got some pretty fuckin rad timing
