I think "sitting" and "the endorsement of euthanasia by community consensus" were the terms you were looking for.

got a Sound Gear by ibanez (sr506), old school now, was owned by the fire department in tauranga, then I bought it.

I put Bartolini Pickups (18v) in it, along with the Aguillar 3 Band preamp,
changed all the hardware from gold to chrome (coz the old stuff was so rusted you could hardly tune it), then pulled the frets off, sanded it down, filled it up with some of that $2.99 fake wood stuff, sanded it again, put on flat wounds and that is the story of my bass guitar. put on a nekromantics and tiger army sticker, but then pulled them off coz it got hideously fashionable to like those bands, and I hate when that happens, you know, you don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing, and you're all like "UUUAARGH!!!"

I play, but not very well.
playing six string is easy, fretless is hard, but both together is fun I reckon.

nuff said, my bass rules,

used to have a flying V which I sold to JEZ. I wish I had that bass back every day, oh well, one day I will buy another one.

and I also used to have a BC RICH BEAST, that bass was the shit,

P.S. I have for sale some skull pot knobs if anyone is interested, I had them on the BC RICH until I sold it, didnt want to sell them to the guy who bought it, he was a dick, dropped it on the ground outside my house, fuck I cared for that like it was my own child for 2 years, and then he had owned it for 3 minutes and he fucking drops it, cock.

Warwick Fortress Masterman.

Fucking ugly nu-metal bass if you ask me, but I find it easy to play/get my sound out of.
