Star Wars Card Trader

Postby snuff » Fri Jan 15, 2016 11:21 am

Anyone else play this app? You basically get a bunch of free credits every day and open packs of cards, collecting sets, cool inserts etc... It reminds me of being a kid and only having like a couple of bucks to buy some cards from the dairy and being like got it, got it, got it... YUSSSSSS!!!

But yeah, bit of fun and some really cool artwork too.

I have an incomplete set of Return Of the Jedi cards somewhere
'I Like It When You Die' is the fourth album by American grindcore band Anal Cunt. The album was originally titled You're Gay, and the album cover was going to contain a mirror, but this idea was later changed

Not familiar with the reference, but yeah there's microtransactions all over it. I haven't paid a cent to play and have around 5000 cards (I just shredded 5500 of the same card for a card with a count of 35). It's made by Topps so they have their card game down pretty good.

That's exactly the feeling I had when I first fired this app up - Oh man, I've only got x amount of credits which packs do I want lol

Absolutely, it's more about collecting the sets and trading - social authentication and reward.

Whats crazier is that some cards (we talking about a fucking .jpg here) have sold on ebay for up to $200. That's what got me into it in the first place, figured it wouldn't cost any money to play and might be able to pull a rare card and flip it for cash.

I've had hours of fun from it. There's actually quite a few Magic apps as well these days - iMTG, MTGJudge, MTG Familiar etc.

I don't doubt it, seems fairly engaging if that's your thing.
