WiFi signal booster

Postby Livestock » Fri Apr 18, 2014 12:33 pm

so... for my second nerdfest post.. I was wondering if any of you know what is the best/most powerful wifi signal booster?

I get full reception 5m from my apartment front door, but none inside. I have to watch fucking netflix in the hallway..
If I buy it, my complex will use it, and I'll get WiFi for the price of a signal booster.
US stuff is better, with US plugs.. theres a bunch on Amazon...

I've just been through this situation myself. I bought a set of larger aerials for my PCI-E network card that didn't do shit. The best option is to use these. internet through powerpoint = mindblown

I've been using this Ubiquiti UniFi range for a while now:

Generally an outdoor AP is good enough to cover a decent area, but gives you the option to add more where necessary.

I guess you really need to ask yourself... What Would Graeme Do?
