Best ISP in Wellington?

Postby xpigx » Wed Jan 02, 2013 3:56 pm

Moving to Wellington in a few weeks. Got a house in Crofton Downs.

Can anyone suggest the best way to go for fast, uncapped internet?

Been spoiled here in Gisborne with a provider called Evolution Wireless where I pay $90+GST per month for all you can eat and get a dish on my roof that gets me this:

Is Orcon and Slingshot as good as it gets? or is there someone else selling bandwidth on a more low-key scale that could do a similar deal and speed to what I get here?
Not holding my breath... but worth a shot.

The huge upload speeds for me have been incredibly useful as I upload huge chunks of data for design clients on the reg.

Cheers!
Fuck up, fuck off.

2. why is crofton downs a good area? unless there are heaps of hot sluts that work at the supermarket there, its just a normal area?

You thicken my plot :calav:

Crofton Downs is fairly quiet as far as crime goes (compared to say, town), very green, generally good houses with decent sections, a handy mini-mall and plenty of schools. Just a nice suburban area. Good for walking little pugs, writing xtian hardcore, starting a family... All that stuff. :baton:

are you on a 100mbit plan tho? if you are and you only get 19mbit, it will almost definitely be your router that needs replacing.
