They finally got decent service out here in the Rockies after getting all the fibre done last summer, stoked.

Moving to our new place in less than a month and will need to sort out the webs, looking at Orcons $99 unlimited plan as they have been pretty good to deal with in the past, or maybe Slingshot Naked unlimited unless someone can suggest something better?

Was confused by Slingshots unlimited ONE plan - says non P2P...what's the deal with that?

Also, need to buy a modem, any suggestions?

P2P is heavily throttled on this plan.

Means things like torrents would go at dialup speed or not much better.

I'm on Slingshot naked. My P2P transfers in SoulSeek sometimes used to slow to dialup speed after about 4 hours, but it's been full speed ahead in the last year or so. Torrenters might have a different story.

Don't get a modem from Slingshot unless it's free... utter junk. I replaced mine with a Linksys. Hard to keep up with the brands... I looked at what was available and checked how many people were complaining. :baton:
