need help removing a tricky trojan

Postby yourstruly » Mon Jan 31, 2011 10:31 am

Every time i remove it with my anti-virus program, it just comes back again, and i can't remove the file it's in, because it just says that it's in use with another program and can't be removed.

What should i do? I'd Google it, but every time i try to open a page in Google it says Malware has been detected and won't let me in. (not sure why this is, has been happening for a few days, but only in Google Chrome.

You can use tools like Spybot Search & Destroy's shredder or possibly Eraser to kill a file even if it's in use, and HijackThis to check the list of things that start when Windows starts for anything that shouldn't be there.

Might be dust in the vents, I hear now-a-days you can get compressed air in a can - that should do the trick!
