i thought paypal released that money after a public outcry. cbf googling.

also. cannot play on dialup, mined blocks just reappear because the information doesnt reach the server fast enough. fuck my flatmates.

just purchase it, man. it's a one-off-cost of less than NZ$20 for a game that never ends. i've hardly played at all and already feel like i've got more than my money's worth.

Yeah it seems like it should be simple but ive tried on several computers and different servers but most of the time I get the "connection refused:connect" error message, also "java.net.NoRouteToHostException:No route to host: connect".
how do you know that a server is definitely up?

Turn firewall off and attempt.

Also, attempt to ping the IP address.

Are you still playing J? Got an OK server with some mates, we pretty much just go explore seemingly never ending cave systems for a few hours every couple of nights or so, hunt squid and spider etc.

Anyone been playing the 1.8 pre release? Fucking buggy mcbuggerton and a lot of crashes but some cool new features. Think the proper release comes out tonight/tomorrow NZ time.
